Malaika princess Victory Road new screenshot


The "Kill boss with attacking his core" mecanic seems working with that boss, just some bugs to fix
After that i'll expand and make it fully work !

I'll have to re-work the entire game since the beginning and change many things about it
The current build is f**** up and cant build a game, corrupted everywhere
I'll start when stencylworks releases a new build of their engine.

If you have to rework it because the entire codebase is borked, why not "shop around"?

Thanks !
But i'll stick with stencyl, its easier for me for now and re-learning a new framework is not easy
But i downloaded godot and tried a bit , looks cool maybe one day i'll develop with it

I managed to save the code a bit , thats an awesomenews ! after crunch work, not sleeping of the night days etc
I can export the game on EXE, still there is a lot of bugs and bizarre things but i hope i'll manage to get this Boss rush done !



Here is a glimpse of the game (and its 60 fps !!!!!!!!!!!!  Smiley)

BTW, I recently learned that gifs don't really work at 60FPS, but if you can save 50FPS gifs then they will run really smooth.

I will up this thread for giving some news
My video game journey have been stopped cause i was creating on an intense and crazy 2d anime for a popular video game
it was asked by a youtuber (i wont reveal him yet )

I'll be back in the video game soon (also stencylworks released a major framework update so here we go )

First video but No explication for now, too busy with it and i will start working on another project for my other team as well ^^





I'll send a better video later (the jump animation have been fixed not on this video ^^ )

At least it seems fluid. I'll keep it simple this time cause the previous work was too complicated and many years of works have been lost (still i learnt a lot )

My last video of 2019 is a gameplay video of the new malaika princess game , new formula
I'm still on research, testing new type of gameplay and such

I think keeping in that direction




You can view it in 1080p / 50 fps


Basically you are between two entities and you in the middle will have to defend the entity ally to you (generally behind you or close to you )

There is no life jauge draw in a classic way, i let you find how it will get showed in the game

Also the heroine doesnt have life jauge but you die if you touch the boss or fall in pit (classic )

Of course you also die when the ennemy giant you fight destroy the entity you are suppoosed to protect.

I'm working on special moves and invocations , after that i'll share a demo playable here for those interested. (it will be an EXE game )
