Knowing TIGsource, you guys already know everything about this game and such have written four guides and three translations. However, I think this game is rather unheard of (at least in the english world), and I'm having some fun with it, and though I might as well share it with you. The game is called lars the wanderer, and for anyone who has played Zeliard (I haven't) it's suppose to have the same kind of gameplay. I spent about a half hour searching for a download link, but apparently they were all dead, so I signed up to a sketchy website. I got the game, and its great. However, it is entirely in korean, which takes away from it, as it is part rpg. Also, I have no idea what the controls are, and thus can't use my side kick. I've attached the file to this post so you guys dont have to search for it. For a dos game, it is amazing, rivaling the gba. However, you need dosbox to run it. As far as I can tell, Shift is switch magic, ctrl is jump/cancel, and alt is attack (when your sword is out) and accept/talk/everything else. Press up to go into houses, and yes, you can go into them, you just have to be right in front of the handle, not moving.

Did anyone actually try the game before trying to translate it?

Haha, nobody's translated anything from the game yet...
I gave the game a shot. It looks interesting. The scrolling and animation is pretty smooth and I've always liked mode 13h.
From what I've seen of the dialog (which thankfully isn't too thick to wade through unlike some RPGs) it doesn't look too tough to translate. I'd say it's kid's level Korean (makes sense). Kid's level is all I know, at any rate.
