Going to change the devlog icon based on percentage of the entire competition.

Heroes can now equip items. Knights will try to have the best armor/sword combo. If they can manage to find those items in your dungeon. BWAHAHAHAHA. They also try to get the most valuable item they can find for their third slot. Not sure how you will get the items to put in yet, I feel like getting them only from killing heroes and when you start the game might be frustrating. Maybe a shop? Tomorrow I'll be finishing up with the chests, and hopefully move on to adding variety to the game.

The thief is capable of picking your doors, rendering them useless. Of course a low level thief won't be too successful and will have to rely on his quick attack speed. They can see further than skeletons and knights combined, and are generally very aggressive. They have low health though, if they are met with more than one enemy at once they are pretty much doomed. (Otherwise they'll steamroll through, needs balance probably)

I tweet too much, just not enough about gamedev I guess.

Heroes can level up now. Killing higher level heroes will give exponentially more score and money, so giving the hero a few mobs to grind on can be an actual strategy. Just make sure you maintain your control and let them think they're winning Evil

Just a bit closer...

I only implemented these ones visually, but soon I'll have them working. I think I'll have the wire take time to activate the next piece, and every piece the electricity has to go through will add to your score if it helps kill the hero.

I also added tooltips for the menus and stuff.

Here's a video of me trying to complete a wave.

It isn't an editor, you make dungeons and try to protect it from heroes who come in and steal your crud!

Yea, I got confused, the idea was too unique for my brain =) It looks fun, would love to see how well I would score.

Yeah it isn't an original idea Tongue Anyways the editor thing won't be confusing to players because there will be an in-game tutorial. Thanks for the interest though!

Set your traps, kill your heroes. Like doors, thieves can avoid traps and remove pressure plates altogether! Much less common though. Next up, I need the heroes to track obstacles they see, so when they level they do it according to what they face. Spamming mobs will be less effective this way, you will need to have a good balance.

Shops! Putting an item gives you half its score instead of the full score. However, heroes can buy it and it will net you money. Set up a nice trap outside the store, and well, you can simply restock the inventory...
