Hello there, this is an action platform game in a twisted version of our modern world: Irrational buildings, horse-head man and traffic-light-cockroaches firing bullets. The names we were considering are: - Urbos ex pest - Sorrow of the demon - Akranios - Atopia - Coba What do you think sounds better for the game?

If you have to choose from that list, I think Akranios sounds the best.
BUT I think for your game name you should consider thing following:
1 -If you tell someone the name of your game at a party, conference, meeting, etc. will they be able to spell it into google when they get home?
2 -Will anyone be able to remember the name? (If it's not made up of english words then probably not)
3 -Does it describe in any way what your game is about or is like, a games name is it's title, it's heading, and should, in some small way, give people an idea of what to expect when they open the box (so to speak)

What's the name of the main character? He's pretty awesome and memorable and I'd be kinda sad if the whole game wasn't named after him.

I don't know about the ones you've chosen. I feel like the name should say something about the game. Are those names not just random names that maybe sound good, but don't really relate to the game?

I'm not sure this is the way to go about things, having people pick a name without knowing anything about the game.
I'm a bit curious about "Urbos ex Pest", though. It sounds almost Latin, but the only word I can find like "urbos" is "urbis" (making it "city from plague" or "city created by plague" maybe?). I don't know a thing about Latin, so I could be wrong, but I do kind of like that title because it actually seems like it says something about the game/setting.

Looks very cool indeed. Really like the graphic style. How about shortening 'Sorrow of the Demon' down to 'Demon Sorrow'? Got anyone working on the audio for the project? I'd be interested You can hear some of my work at fracturesmusic.com

Akranios stuck out when I glanced at the list. Not sure what it stands for though. On a separate note, the art of the game looks really sharp .

Coba is a beast name, easy to remember and doesn't sound generic like Arkanios or "demon demon sorrow epic gam"
