Just a quick update on HOPE.

Here's the youtube vid, showing level building using the "build drone" create mode. Allows you to build things using a grid-based control scheme. This is to complement the more garry's mod style physics building stuff. Although you can do fun things like build in this mode than physics parts of it around etc.

Hmm, this week has been spent putting the word out. Got entries up on indiedb and steam greenlight concept:

Also updated reddit:

It takes a hell of a lot of time just updating the various sites (including here). Sometimes I wonder if its worth it, considering I have like 0 followers for the game Wink

I guess until I have something a bit more screenshot friendly, I'm going to have a hard time getting any interest in the game. Which is a bit sucky but hey ho, thats life and all.

Next week I'm starting work on the AI again, in a roundabout sort of way. I need to enhance the physics loader to take a collection of collision shapes (currently only allows one per mesh) and then enhance the navmesh generation to generate tiled navmesh that can be updated on the fly. THEN I can work on Floyd, who is the robot helper you'll get at the start of the game.

It all sounds so easy as you're typing it out Smiley

Thats the plan anyway.
