I'm thinking of setting up a simple weekend sale for DRM-free indie games that are sold directly by the developers.  The idea is that each dev offers some kind of discount, e.g. 50% off for the weekend, and I'll set up a page with all of this information and links back to the games.  We'll work together to raise awareness online, the idea being that we ought to be able to get much more attention together than a single game deal would.

I propose the weekend of the 26th / 27th of January.

Please note that I will not provide payment infrastructure, host additional content, set up bundles or anything like that.  I want to keep it simple.

Oh, and it needs a snappy name.

Indeed, I reckon we need at least 5 games for this to be worthwhile, more would be better.

OK, it looks like this isn't going to happen.

I'd be interested to know if there's anything you think I could have done differently with this idea?  I still think it has potential, though I suppose it's never going to be as popular as a Steam weekend deal.
