I've decided to pursue another project. I don't think the world needs another Metroidvania rip-off, and I'm already over the hump of building that engine. So screw it!
However, I will still be working on pixel art and will be posting some things here as they come up.

I've shifted to some smaller sprites.   Making sort of a robotron rip off, and I'm having trouble showing the guns from the front. As you can see above, they are just squares and totally suck. |

You seem to have taken much of a leaf from Pokemon as well, or at least that's the impression I get. They look nice. Something's bothering me about the left-facing one, I think it's his foot, but not nitpicking. Given perspective, it seems like he would be pointing the guns slightly more down instead of barrel-at-the-camera. You can try moving the guns down one pixel onto the hand and then drawing the top face of them in a lighter shade, in the difference left behind. I can't upload right now, but I'll edit with an edit when I can to show you what I mean. Good work! |

Yeah I took the animation from Pokemon/older SNES titles. 3 frames and all that jazz. I do need to fix his profile animation though. Its very off.  attempt at a two handed gun. Shotgun/rifle/anything held with 2 hands. |
