Yes, I know I'm late to the World of Goo party: I've had no time for games recently due to excessive, excessive homework, but I grabbed World of Goo for the Wii and played through the bulk of it in one sitting.

Totally... fucking... brilliant.

While the game wasn't particularly challenging to get through, it's obvious it was made with a lot of love and attention to detail. I really enjoyed how every stage had a markedly different feel and method of solution, and it was very refreshing to be reminded that puzzle games can actually be awesome and not just bland and repetitive.

Awesome state-of-independent-gaming World of Goo short-story review on ASCII dreams.

Okay, so being forced into epic frugality, I've had to make do with the demo for now.

I played through it, and this game is indeed awesome.

But has anyone else played through the demo?  At the end, after the Chapter 1 ending stuff, it went to some glitchy-looking screen with a blue background and very-zoomed-in pixelated black spots flying past at ridiculous speed from left to right.  The only interaction I could find was to click and drag something from the left of the screen, but when I let go it didn't do anything.  No menu, keyboard did nothing, and I had to alt-f4 out of it.  I'm assuming this is a bug and not some weird sekrit feature?
