I call it Meat boy http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/463241(sorry i dont know how else to post news about what im doing on here) And yes, i now realize how much meat boy looks like the red guy in jumper... ive been hearing it all day. i swear when i played jumper the main guy was green and shot out a rope... i guess i was wrong. Not much you can do with skinless box then color him red. anyway im still extreamly pleased with how it came out, i designed it with a very fresh programmer (his 1st game) and we made it in about 18 days. i hope you guys enjoy it. -Edmund

It's quite enjoyable. First flash game that gave my laptop a hard time though! (only when it's scrolling)

quite enjoyable and diverting, comparisons of various sorts notwithstanding. didn't notice it doing much process-usage-wise to my comp.

(sorry i dont know how else to post news about what im doing on here) Yeah, there isn't really anywhere here to do that. There's the feedback forum, but that's more for wip-y stuff and doesn't apply if you consider a game finished/won't work any more on it, or aren't really looking for feedback. The art forum is for concepts and art and such. And then there's this forum, which would be fine if it wasn't for that sticky shouting about how you shouldn't even consider posting about your own stuff in here if you don't want to get lynched. It's a little discouraging. I've had things I've considered posting about myself, and I know I can't be the only one.. sometimes you just want to share something, or post about something you know others here would probably be interested in, right? But we don't see any of that here. I think the community is missing out Anyways, about the game. I got to the salt factory, but then the game slowed down and it felt like the physics changed, so I couldn't get my jumps right. If it wasn't just my imagination, you should tell your programmer to make the physics framerate-independent for the next one. It's kinda important for a game like this . Other than that, I like it.

I think it was silly of you to include an anti-meat eater poem thing there. I'm fine with people being vegetarian, as long as they don't tell me to be one.

Anyways, about the game. I got to the salt factory, but then the game slowed down and it felt like the physics changed, so I couldn't get my jumps right.
We have run into this problem with people using IE and some one slower pcs, if you download the standalone exe/mac file it should run at 60 fps always. I think it was silly of you to include an anti-meat eater poem thing there. I'm fine with people being vegetarian, as long as they don't tell me to be one.
The "Tips" on pause and level completion are random, there are like 3 pro meat eating quotes in there as well, i thought it would be funny to add an anti meat one. -Edmund

The platforming feel fairly good, but the game seems pretty processor-heavy in the scrolling levels.

Fun stuff! This takes me back to testing YMM's games. Though not as insanely hard, still pretty difficult and fun.

TIP: LOL @ the people who think this game is vegetarian propaganda :D Anyway, the game runs quite slowly for me whenever it's scrolling ... not very fun. (When it runs well it is pretty good though!)
