Long time no see with Starshock updates, so here’s a status update

  • Project is not dead
  • 98% of the sounds are in, some will get changes
  • Some enemies redesigned (as seen above, tankbot and flybot)
  • New demo coming soon (for real)

The delay wasn’t on my part mostly, it was two things clashing; me having no computer for a month and the former soundguy leaving before doing anything. Both of those are out of the way now and hopefully we’ll get this done

Interesting.
Alone the printing costs of such a large banner may very well exceed the budget of some of the titles being developed on this forum.

Well, even if it were real I wouldn't be the one paying for the printing. Probably the publisher

I know, it's mostly me kind of losing interest and us lacking a sound guy for a long time. Sound is a criteria for demo #2 so it had its effect on the delayed updates. I'm still working daily on it but instead of 6 hours a day, 30-50 minutes

well..at least there's hope. I don't know if I have said this already, the demo I played was amazing. It had so much likeness to Delver, which I loved, yet you have your personality weaved in it as well. I badly want to see this continued...

"shibe" is a say, kind of comic, where Shiba Inu's are captioned with phrases like "wow" and "such something" or "very adjective" in comic sans and MSPAINT colors
