So, VGCats linked to a random webcomic today, called MS Paint Adventures. It just so happens to be about the most hilarious thing ever. If you have so much as heard of adventure games, you'll probably love this.

Wow, this is genius. I wish I would've paid attention to it earlier.

Really quite amusing.

(Also, this is what the Adventures in TIGS thread could have been if that hadn't collapsed under total randomness and unfunny meta-humor Undecided. This Paint Adventures thing also has a certain amount of randomness, but it still has some sort of internal logic and coherency to it...)

For being a very silly little comic (spent way too much time at work finishing it), it does have some really nice consistency and humor to it. I like it and am very glad they have a RSS feed. Smiley Makes me wish I continued my own comic though. Sad

We need something like this. You know, with someone drawing.
Or do we already have such a thread?

There was, in the projects forum before the Indie Smash project took it over. It should be on the last page, called the "pants adventure" or something like that. It was quite entertaining.

Maybe I should make a spiritual-successor to the Pants Adventure.

Wow that was awesome. Somoeone should have told me it takes more than two hours to read, I wasted a lot of productive hours. Oh well, it was so good.

Yeah. Long. I'm still not done with it. Awesomeness, though. Thanks for the pointing out, Valter. Makes me wish Pants Adventures had picked up around here.

There's something similar I really want to start, that doesn't involve pixel art.

I think Pants adventure was a good length. It's just too much work if it goes on and on and on. It would be better if MS Paint Adventures would wrap it up too, so the story is complete. I mean, it took me longer to read than to watch an average movie.

Thanks a bunch for the tip!  Beer!
Reminds me of an old project I was going to start too... Damn, there's just too many of them Tongue

Absolutely brilliant. One of the funniest web comics I've ever read. It is rather lengthy though. I've already spent half an hour reading it, I'll have to finish it later.

Dammit, I haven't laughed this much at something from the internets for a long time, and after I took a break at #529, I now come back and realize the whole site is down...
Did we break it?  Cry

Well, when VGCats linked to it, the bandwidth basically maxed out in a few seconds. Come back at a later time and it'll be probably be back up.

Of course, me linking to it probably didn't help at all.

Maybe you could take turns on a single one. That would be entertaining.

Nah. I got things I gotta do anyways. Hideous should do the first one and I'll take the second if it gets popular to do a second.
