Hi everyone!!!

We've just created our own game development studio : NOEGO!
Our first game : "Level 22 - Gary's misadventures" is in progress!

Level 22 mixes 2 genres: the stealth game and the point’n click, while the action is taking place in the cruel world of office work.
For more information we invite you to go on our WIP.
You can also support us on our Steam Greenlight Concept page.

Here are some elements of the interface. They are designed to work on Pc as well as on tablet computers.
Below you can see our main enemy ('cause he is not going to be the only one): our boss!

Illustrations you can see during dialogues.

Vous aurez l’occasion de rencontrer ces personnages ci-dessous ! Un peu de suspens est maintenu pour les autres   Wink

Animations you will find in the game.

Levels edition goes on little by little!

Just for fun, here are some pixelated references   Wink

Come on, now it's your turn! Give us you opinion. Tell us what you think about the game (graphics, main idea, universe, genre, etc.). What kind of characters, environments or game mechanics ideas would you like to see implemented in the game?

Thank you,
The Noego Team

Here are some 8-bit environments to enhance your visit to this page!! Attention !! These sequences won't be in the games. It's just some personal and amateur attempts :

We do not require a specific type of feedbacks. First impressions will be alright. What do you guys think about it: Is it something you have seen a thousand times or a game you definitely want to play before you die?
We submitted the game to greenlight concept because it is only at 25% of its developement. We will switch to the "real" greenlight around 90%.

I love the art and animation, but I can't imagine a stealth game working well with a point-and-click interface. Maybe it does, but I generally find that clicking makes me feel like I have less control (even if I don't) and therefore more frustrating if my attempts to be stealthy fail. It'll feel like the game made me lose, rather than my own actions.

Your page with "more explanations about the gameplay" is all in French, so I can't understand that much of it.

Very pertinent observation Quicksand-S! Yeah, controls are one of the main challenges we are facing with LEVEL 22. The first idea was to keep it simple because we want to make the mouse version as easy to use as the touch screen version…and it was tough! The truth is, even if there are a lot of stealth games, we cannot really inspire from them about controls. We needed more accessibility. So, we had to figure out things by ourselves and it seems we pretty well succeeded ‘cause user tests are very positives. People never complained about the point’n click behavior of the character and find it easy to use.
On PC: use “w a s d” keys to scroll the camera and the mouse to control the avatar, interact with the environment and use items. On tablet computers: simply slide you finger to scroll the camera and tap briefly somewhere in the level to make the character move to it.

By the way, thank you for giving us your opinion on the art. It’s really important for us to know that our graphic approach is appreciated.

Our website pages are all available in English. Here is the challenge: on that page, will you find the “stars and stripes” button that switch the language to English?
