The (possibly still work-in-progress) mist effect that I intend for cutscenes:


(Sorry about the "skip" that happens when the GIF repeats--the mist effect is designed such that looping should be rare.)

Simon the Sorcerer wasn't the look I was going for but yeah, I can see it. I worked on a very similar game back in the day " Discworld" and remember lookin at Simon at the time.
