This looks really awesome - I like the lighting and use of physics.  I may be slightly biased, but the explosions look out of place.  Particle based explosions would make it really cool.

Is it a videogam about placing enemies to kill an AI hero?  Because that would be so much more interesting than a game about being another dude who has to yet again kill a lot of boring enemies

Working on a strange idea in unreal - an orthographic game with a top down 3D world.
At the moment, the walls are too small and the character can just jump up on them. It's a random demo map.
