This wily innkeeper looks even more sly after animation magic from Viktor. Unfortunately, all magic was used for the eyes because someone stole Teek's hair. C'est la vie!

It's not a very promising project because of the volume of animations, but I'm pushing it while the process is still enjoyable at least. Here's an update. I got enough to get a prototype working I think.

More progress on my procedural racer/city gen thingy (side project, done in Godot).

The boxy car standing at the roadside (sans wheels but with rear lights and windshield) is procedurally generated in Godot itself while the other two test meshes were done in Houdini.

The game also procedurally generates the date you see in the welcome message. It's always in the 2040s Smiley

Oh, and the race marker finally looks nice, no more fugly cyan rectangles.

Another skill animation for Ash of Gods ready: how to save a valuable character if he's almost dead? Use redirection ability, and every strike from an enemy will lower energy instead of health. Also, your character will get a decent bonus to his attack. What do you say?

This is a WIP of the garage screen, as you see the procedural car mesh was refined a bit more (the car now has what is known as pillars, as well as side windows).
The garage is just a couple of boxes slapped together plus an angled camera and some light sources. There are no textures on them, just some vertex coloring. The car has a glass transparent material, a texture on rear lights and a tron shader otherwise.


I guess I finally found a reason to stick to procedural meshes generated in-engine instead of loading stuff from external tools Tongue

Traveling at night is dangerous in the world of Ash of Gods, even for a big party so it is better to stop overnight. You can sit near the campfire, talk to your companions and get some rest before the new trek.

What do you think about fire's animation? Is it good enough to watch forever, as the saying goes?
