Not sure how long you're supposed to wait after posting in here to post again, but here is another gif I just recorded of me testing some new cliff tiles and a parallax BG. Everything very WIP right now. Games art has a darker tone now than in the gif on last page. It is more what I was going for.

Looking good guys, always love seeing everyones gifs!

You don't think I'd make a gladiator game without the audience launching random weapons and items into the arena sometimes, right? (Especially now that item picking up & dropping is in the game)

So I wrote a little "launcher" script!

It's just loading in the team colours, in this test/debug mode its visible but normally not Smiley

First time using subpixel rendering, since I've always been against it in the past, but I think it looks really good combined with the foliage swaying effect.  Also just made these tree sprites last night and I'm pretty proud of them.
