I really like the animation! I think it could look a bit more brutal if Elza was pushed back faster then decelerated. I have mixed feelings about the bounce thing.
If you go for something "cartoonish", maybe you could exagerate it a bit.

The programmer just added these animations in game, now we must will set it up:

Really nice gameplay video! For the first time now, I get what you're trying to do -- the stills never really meant much too me, the actually looked kinda confusing at times. Now it's all much clearer, and the game looks really interesting.  Coffee

I noted at one point in the video that the right half of the screen was all black, and the maze only visible on the left-hand side. I only realized later that that was because of the scrolling. You keep the player character centered, even when you walk all the way to the edge of the screen, and that's what results in half the screen (everything beyond the edge) being black.

Is that effect something you're going to keep?

Well we left this effect because most probably will use one large map instead of a set of small maps, like on this pic, with moving between map's sectors like in LttP/Minish Cap.

I would say that the enmies being killed the very moment the sprites enters the new tile where the laser shots looks a little bit weird. The MC dies better when enters the laser (I guess is just work in progress).

They are all great! Perhaps I feel the first ones closer to the actual game, probably for the character proportions than the other ones. But as I said, I like all of them. Are you going to use them as the "cover" for Maze ?
