Most of my "abandonware" came from stores and not lazy 'good faith' warez websites making up terms to defend themselves.

I wouldn't recommend any warez site, abandonware or not, to anyone, especially when they have games like Blood available when it can be purchased on Amazon.com

I'm not sure they're the same Epic.
They are. Same old Tim Sweeney, same old Cliff Blezinski.

Blood was a good game. Had it's own twisted sense of humor. Definitely better than any of the modern space-marine-versus-stuff games.

Good gawd, all these young-uns. Makes me feel old that not only do I know what the entire game-ogrophy for Epic Megagames is but I watched it unfold, playing most of them and watching them gain complexity with each iteration. From ZZT to Jill of the Jungle to, yes, OMF 2097 (heck, I played the original OMF proof of concept) to Unreal and beyond. All you whipper snappers around here don't appreciate the pedigree that your modern games have.

EDIT- wtf epic made jazzjackrabbit?haha, long way to gears of war.

I'm not sure they're the same Epic. Perhaps it's similar to Atari -- the Atari that exists today is not actually the same Atari that created the 2600, they are just a different company bought the right to use the name, but there isn't a single employee who is the same from back then. It could be the same with Epic.
I think it is. Jazz Jackrabbit was made by Clifford Bleszinski, who is the same guy behind the modern Epic's Gears of War.

I had the same reaction when I found out :D

Actually, Blood isn't sold. All they have in Amazon is to buy it used. Abandonia and Underdogs don't have games that are being sold or are ESA protected. At least not that they know. Yet, there are lots of games that you can't find in stores. Like Agent USA or Colorado.

By the way, I hate Blood, it's one of the worst games I've ever played.
