I've wondered what it is about certain games that attracts me, aside from the obvious, and one aspect that frequently comes up is the way resource management is handled. I quite like extensive, varied resources, to the level that crafting items and products can be a somewhat creative process, and even more so when some of these can be bought and sold on a market. It's what primarily attracts me to dwarf fortress and eve online, and some open-world games. I guess to form this as a question, how do you feel resource management is best handled?
