https://lospec.com/palette-listPALETTE LIST The Lospec Palette List is a database of palettes for pixel art. We include both palettes that originate from old hardware that could only display a few colors, as well as palettes created by pixel artists specifically for making art. All palettes can be downloaded and imported into your pixelling software of choice I am loving these atm. Thanks for the good work here gimymblert

> try to overlay a lot of transparent objects that take up the whole screen and see your FPS go down on the mobiles
I have actually resorted to building a software-based sprite blitter in JavaScipt + Canvas due to this. I have to draw hundreds of thousands of semi-transparent sprite, often overlapping.

CPU, I needed hundreds of individual Canvas elements, I figured that WebGL would bork on that.
Plus I don't know 3D graphics at all, and only need 2D graphics.

I'm still struggling with representing hairstyle in that range too. She is basically having the same difficulty step than me LMAO

This classification is controversial anyway, but it's a good shortcut when talking about hair type and don't spend to much time dealing with inefficiency of English to talk about afro american hair, in french we have "crépue" as a designation to combine with adjectives.

Sounds like an interesting topic! Controversial for historical baggage reasons, or more like "it doesn't have a name for X so it makes people think that isn't a thing. Where X is something from an ethnic minority ignored by whites", or more like "has implied hierarchical ordering that others non-white hairstyles", or a mix of all three? @Golds: I chuckled at the "sort of" title.
