Do factories dream when they are not working? Mine does. Next is some mining and energy production. Found Factorio this week, very interesting. Mustn't do too much industry though.

Received a few more pieces of artwork over the weekend and did some work on the industry with the functional Miner.


And just earlier I found a bug when generating my pants, behold the wonders l-systems! All very crisp now and no more black borders around plants.

Why the hell are there no tutorial on a really deep save/load system in lua? I'm cracking my nuts over this for a few days now and it gets more and more complicated every day. Of course I could just dump the whole game object, but with the map having lots of point objects and a dumping storing those including all functions. Not an sexy option.

So, anyone out there with a hint? Or games which have interesting save games to look at so I can reverse engineer some ideas?
