Very repetitive, but I kinda like it.
I made a track I'm very happy with, probably one of the best things I've ever made. Good things don't come to those who wait, they come to those who are randomly fiddling about with no purpose whatsoever! https://soundcloud.com/literature-corner/herald-of-the-world;3

My skills pale in comparison to most of what I see(hear?) here Maybe it's the fact that I'm cheap and don't want to spend money for professional stuff(or find out how to get them running under linux). I've uploaded everything that's worth sharing over here.Nice! Reminds me of The Lord of the Rings for some reason

Just released the soundtrack from the just released TIMEframe (Now on Steam!) Listen here.Being a development and expansion of ideas originally used in our Ludum Dare Game Jam entry, I got the unique chance to revisit music I’d written once before, using and developing motifs I had first used back in the original gamejam version of TIMEframe. Not to mention it was a really exciting project for me, given I had the chance to bring Live Strings into the soundtrack, along with the Acoustic Guitar, Piano and Ambiences of the original.

That actually means more than you know O_O, also you're better than what you think! Just keep pressing forward and make sure you mix and master your material!! Keep up the hard work, I'm liking your stuff https://soundcloud.com/danthoni-wooten/paceHere's another one for you guys. It's more of an electronic song. Developed most of the sounds without scrambling through a ton of presets. ( lul ) I hope you guys like it ^_^

Been working for a long time on this! The journey from programmer to musician was not easy. Would love to make some of this style of music for a game if there are interested parties... https://supersaturn.bandcamp.com/album/albiorix-ep

Some new music: To the people, Akross the gap and That laughter. All produced with my newly invested Korg Kross, as well as some software VST plugins I've bought as well. Constructive critics is always welcome!

@AcataleptI've been following you for lord knows how long. Definitely a muse when it comes to ambient/textural pieces. It sounds good, though it comes off as confined (to my ears). Have you added compression to the track? Also, the gorgeous synth you have as the 'main' musical timbre seems to be a little close. Aside from that, wonderful, as usual. @JotapehBased on what I hear, you seem to be making the transition rather effortlessly! I really enjoyed what you did on your EP. With time, you'll be great, man! @Justin Very fitting title for your piece! Sounds exactly like a theme that would be used in a quiet, little ol' forest village.

Thanks, very kind of you, and appreciate the feedback. I'll be the first to admit I have a long way to go musically in general, and I struggle with the mastering and production side of things: most things come out too muddy, too harsh, unbalanced, lacking fine detail and definition. Most of my music making is done in the wee hours with headphones, only to find the next morning on loudspeakers that the low end is completely messed up, staging is flat, and a host of other issues. But (like many others on here) I just love to do it And it's nice to know my experiments provide some inspiration...

programmer to musician
It's even harder to go the other way 'round. One can't create a game solely by writing music I struggle with the mastering and production side of things
if you haven't said that I wouldn't have ever known. btwsingmetosleepisawesome Still trying to nail down a style for something I hope to finish start eventually.
