I like the arrangement of the long climb, it paints a great picture. I just started composing for games. I would love your opinion on the track. https://soundcloud.com/daniellejoyqd/broad-prod-daniellejoy-bpm-120DanielleJoy Hello TIGForum readers! My name is Clayton Stroup. I'm a composer based in Dallas, TX and I have recently started to compose soundtracks for games. I just completed my first original soundtrack for a Minecraft mod called "Dragon Block C". The soundtrack is is loosely based on the works of Bruce Faulconer (DBZ composer). I hope you guys enjoy and I'm always interested in feed back. https://soundcloud.com/clayton-stroup/sets/dragon-block-c-original-soundtrackThanks for listening! -Clayton

I've been collecting random musical thoughts for a while now, hoping to eventually have an entire game soundtrack. I'd like some feedback on what I have so far. https://soundcloud.com/absolute-segment/sets/variety-pack-wip/s-sRkUuI love the overall style, and the percussion part really makes the whole thing in my opinion. The only criticism I have is that I think the looping background part repeats too often, and it covers up the string part at some points. I noticed the first note was changing, but for me that wasn't enough to make it feel like it was changing- and since there isn't any syncopation, it just seemed to drag on. Everything else was great, though, and I really enjoyed the tone. Overall, it's a great start.

Audio teaser for the game called ElectroRide: https://soundcloud.com/dawidwmika/electroride-audio-teaserI made music, recorded car engine, edited it and mixed the whole thing. Now I'm integrating it through FMOD Studio and gosh, it's so exciting! Is there any possible interest for a blog post about recording real car on indie budget? I can share what I learned.

Here's a teaser trailer from a game I'm currently scoring.
The OST for the game is going to be diverse style wise and will likely have multiple composer involvement. That particular track is somewhat of a homage to Hiroki Kikuta, given that the programmer and director particularly likes the SoM OST.
Music wise, I am capable of writing in many styles but I'd say my approach is somewhat reflective, both of my schooling and of my heavy involvement in JRPGs back in the day. Too busy writing to game much these days =-(

Hey hello why not. This is a sample of a track I recently composed for a game called Retool, it's the first half of the main level loop: https://soundcloud.com/lizrainsberry/exploration-escape-retool-ost-sample/s-cthTcIt's currently set to private as I'm hoping to make it public when the game eventually gets released (or close to release either way). But yeah, I have been doing a lot of ambient and atmospheric work lately, haha. I hope to change it up in future work though. There's currently a demo of the game available to download, too, if you want to hear the rest of the music in-game and provide feedback on that, so feel free to check that out, too! https://hut90.itch.io/retool

Hey folks, Made a humble homage to Jeremy Soules "Oblivion" OST in light of the 10 year anniversary, and as background music for a friends youtube episode. The episodes not out yet, but the music is. Didn't try to do anything extravagant with it, Oblivion, being such a strong ambient soundtrack, has little powerful themes sprinkled throughout, and I clung to those as I put this together. https://soundcloud.com/hyperduck/elder-scrolls-iv-medleySounds good, and Jeremy Soule writes so simple it's tough to realize how good the simplistic writing becomes what we know and like! You did good with the melody, felt good and like Soule with the brass and timpani hits. Skyrim is one of my favs.

Absolutely gorgeous! I made a comment on your soundcloud about a specific moment that works so well. What String VST are you using?
