Here's some music off a new chiptune album I'm releasing with Cheapbeats sometime between mid-October and November. It's made entirely in Famitracker, which means it could be played back on actual NES hardware. The only problem is that it's using the VRC6 chipset ... which means you'd have to gut out Japanese Castlevania III cartridges to make Whiskers Mahone cartridges, haha. Maybe someday I'll go full minimalist and make an NES album using no expansion chips, but it seems unlikely. Also, here's another small thing I wrote the other day. It's definitely not a standard big orchestral setup -- it features the oboe, flute, bassoon, harp and some violins. I haven't really given the theoretical or harmonic side much thought with this one -- I just wanted to write using the rule of cool and not much else. https://soundcloud.com/hoffy-music/rurality

I haven't posted here in a while, I've been studying more music theory and composition the last couple of months. Here's what I made this week though, I feel pretty happy about it. The inspiration was old sega genesis tracks, particularly Sonic, just a bit slower and chill. Soundcloud: Youtube:

That's awesome Sidbarnhoorn, I love seeing live stuff being done with synths. Reminds me a lot of stuff done by Vangelis (e.g., Blade Runner). Here's some really welcome news ... my new album is finally out on Cheapbeats! It's a forty minute long chiptune concept album that is pretty personal to me, dealing with the concepts of life and death through euthanasia. Click this obnoxiously bold, bluish text to check it out if you'd feel so kind/inclined!

All your stuff is sweet guys! I haven't shared on here for a while, but I made this the other day while fiddling with some synthesizers - I actually really liked how it turned out so thought I'd share. This one wasn't for a game or anything, just for myself I guess. https://soundcloud.com/zminusone/in-wind

Hello guys! My first post here, sharing some of my music. I just subscribed to EastWest Composer Cloud, so I'm testing with this quick instrumental music. https://soundcloud.com/alectoraworks/cloudly-composedI also make a new one a few days later to use lesser instruments than the last one, cause my 8GB RAM doesn't seem to handle it nicely . So here's a slow instrumental music for you. https://soundcloud.com/alectoraworks/into-thin-airI'll be posting (or adding in this post) for newer ones. It will be mostly instrumental and a bit fusion with drums and electric guitars. Cheers folks, and enjoy!

Just made this with those libs a couple of days ago. The track is probably not safe for work.
