I've been writing game music since 1992, and heres a little bit of chiptune for you, in a NES style:

This is an update to a track I originally wrote a few years back now.

Hello all. I am a composer and I have been trying to work on indie games for a couple of years. I have been a part of three games so far that I joined at or very near the beginning of the game, and all three fell apart. If there are any groups looking for music for their games, I would love a message to see if we are compatible, especially projects that are a little further along and actually ready or nearly ready for music. Some samples of my style can be found at https://soundcloud.com/user-338213451/sets/samples or you can email me at [email protected] for some. I am happy to write a short sample as well in a specific style (a minute or so of an sketch) as well. I love to write so I am also happy to write for low pay or a small percent of the finished game. Hope to work with some of you. Thanks.

For a repository of "community-driven" free game music, check
https://iamoneabe.itch.io/
Currently has 50 song in it, in two Projects, that I call "Trinities" - as they comprise of three minialbums, each containing 10 tracks. The style ranges from chiptune to modern reto and snythwave/synthpop.
I say "community-driven" because I draw the  ideas from various game developer friends and projects. All music is CC BY-SA and the number is growing with every new idea and suggestion. "The First Trinity" is currently the only finished Trinity and is available on Spotify, iTunes, Tidal etc.
Currently all tracks are in CD quality WAV format, but that will likely change in the future as more and more developers ask for "indivisual instrument tracks" and loopable parts, and making those will quickly expand the size from current ~1 Gig to something ridiculous. Having them in OGG format will greatly reduce the size and enable me to include individual instrument tracks and loops and stingers.
Join the game music repositoryy project by dropping a line Wink

Guys! Listen to the new track we made!
It's inspired in 80s synths. What do you think?
