I don't feel like making a thread.

How does making a remix album sound? Basically remixing the whole or most of a game soundtrack.

Hi!

I'm new to TIGForums so i'm using this as a hello and "check out my crappy music" message.
So here's a song I made recently for a friends game called escape velocity. I'm going to post this in the Harsh Criticism Thread too, cus I like my songs being ripped to shreds.

Disclaimer: I am a programmer so making music is kinda new to me Smiley

Very relaxing and awesome, especially the background. I like it.  Grin

Also 4amjam kinda reminds me of the soundtrack to Brick. What do you use to make your music, by the way?

Thank you very much!
I use Ableton live mostly, and for instruments i try to use my own samples as much as possible, mixed with sinewave-y instruments here and there. 4amjam is kindof an exception: i was just toying around with the "4am" instrument in live (hence the name; it was actually 2am when i made that). fun fact: i was watching Shutter Island when i made it =)

Thanks for listening, guys! The guitar is not real, sadly. I have no recording equipment to speak of.

Ah, very relaxing! Have you ever heard of Boards of Canada? They write some really nice ambient tunes... you should check them out.
