Can you talk about that squishy camera zoom? I don't quite get it, is it just for aesthetic purposes or does it make things easier to see when zoomed out>

I love how the characters squish + flash when being hit. Very effective, and I'd assume a pretty cheap solution. Keep up the excellent work!

hey. I'm new to this thread. I just want to say your characters rule: obv. what the fuck maN? why no rroguelikes always like this?
in Golden Sun every so often your char would throw up an exclamation point above his head, denoting surprise, obviously. it was super cute, and over used, with unnecessarily long dialogue to begin with. but the charm had so much potential. the player's imagination rules. you just need to give them a kick start. and we're back to your characters.

and I just heard they will be adding a native compiler for performance intensive games, which is also awesome. Yeah, shame the new compiler is going to cost $299 which I refuse to pay for such a thing, especially when there isn't any guarantees on the speed increase (a GMC mod claimed the speed boost on his games were between 2-5 times faster, a far cry from the 100 times faster YoYo claim). Anyway good to see this is coming along. p.s. lol at that script dump, pauly eres would be so very proud

Very nice work here Gabriel, keep it up! So what is the goal for the game going to be? Just getting as far as you can without dying?
