 Konichiwa Minna! My name is Rika desu. I'll be giving you a tour on this game desu. I'll be filling in for goshujin-sama from now on whenever he updates this game!  This is a gif of the game with placeholder art, currently goshujin-sama is completely reworking all of the art, he got tired of looking at placeholder art. Not in those gifs but in my game they have little attack animations when they deal damage to you :D ALSO PUBLIC TODOLIST. I have a lot of work to do. If I see I forget something, I'll add it to the list. I'll keep the forum updated with a todolist update every once in a while as well.  Blue means not started, then it goes red, orange, yellow, green, dark green. Edit: Decided I'd include a image of them attacking me, but its not that great yet. I'll polish it later, it'll do for now.  |

The minimal gfx sold me anytime and I would like to play it with my daughter :D
I think you should make the "sword" efx more curve, it looks a bit wrong.

Thanks for the compliments guys, but I want to really push that this art will not stay. It will stay simplistic for sure (at least I think it will be) But in the future, trust me, this won't be a game that you'd want to play with your daughter. If you know anything about me, I want to take this game to a level of ecchiness along the lines of Neptunia.  (neptunia character design) But another thing about the art, I adore cute things. My polished art will totally have a cute colorful happy vibe for sure. I love cute stuff. [Ranged Weapons Yay]  |

 Well for a school day, I think I got a ton of work done. I guess productiveness happens when you uninstall League.  Anyways let me summarize what I did today! I pretty much started a lot of needed features. I started melee and ranged combat, which you can see me switch between my sword, or my throwing knife. You can also see the gear on your little player, which will be fully animated later. I created a level and EXP system, which as you level up you get stronger. I created a SP system where you slow down in attacks once you're tired. (will involve skill mastery tree later :D). Damage stat that takes your base damage and your weapon damage and creates what you output onto monsters. Attack Speed stat, which does what it says, lets you attack faster! Starting the loot system with money that drops... Starting HP system... ...Thats it, I think.. |

I was more speaking of the idea of the game etc. then the art style - i read that at the start these were placement and will have ecci girls.

*sigh* I didn't get much done today, but I truly tried, dammit! I messed around with some code to make SP regain better, but todays focus was a simple dungeon generator, that placed blocks around and monsters. Well I'm not the best coder ever, and I'm pretty stumped when it comes to random generation. I'm just gonna stop for tonight, I'm tired. Thanks for reading. EDIT: I didn't go to sleep, I kept working. AND I FIGURED IT OUT! WOO. SIMPLE MAP GENERATION!  |
