Hi,

some fellow students and I developed a puzzle game that is freely playable online at http://ikuh.clay.io. It is our entry to the clay.io "Got Game?"-competition. The whole game is JavaScript/HTML5-based. We used the impactJS-framework.

The goal is to lead the cow to the trophy by dragging arrows from the inventory (right) on the field. An animal that enters a field with an arrow will change its direction according to the direction of the arrow.

The game is intended for desktop-pc and tablet. (It should work on mobile phones, but on android you will need mobile chrome or mobile firefox and because of the small display size it is not very pleasant to use, especially if you don't have a fullscreen browser, e.g. by using a plugin for firefox.)

Currently there are 34 playable levels.

In these levels there are:
- two different types of arrows (permanent and non-permanent)
- pushable boxes
- a second class of animals (which act the same as the cow, except they cannot win a level, i.e. they can push, be pushed, pick up keys, press buttons)
- two types of doors (one opened with a key and one opened by pressing a button

We want to change the theme of the game (so we want to replace the cow etc.) and when we have made our mind up, we will ask somebody to create graphics, who is better than this than we are. (So we are aware that the graphics should be improved.)

We would really appreciate feedback concerning:
- the gameplay (i.e. Do you encounter any behaviour, which surprises or confuses you? What would you expect differently? Do you think the introduction with the hints is too slow/too fast?)
- the level-design (Which levels do you like and why? Which levels suck and why?)

Also, we already implemented a number of new items, which haven't made it yet into the current levels:
- teleporter
- new type of arrow, that rotates, after somebody stepped on it

Here we would like to know, what you would expect if a box is pushed on a teleporter field? (The problem is, that the box would come out at the other end - again on a teleporter field. So our approach would be, that we would only teleport animals, but we are affraid that this might be confusing.) Do you like the idea of a teleporter, rotating arrow in general?

Of course, every general feedback is appreciated.

Thanks and best regards,
Martin
