[Needs Name]

I'm starting a small side project just for something fun to make when I get bored. It's going to be a platformer with ores and mining not to sure yet what else. I probably won't end up finishing it but I'll still be posting my progress here.

Any feedback is welcome.

Update 2:

Now 3 hours have been spent on this game. I managed to:
  • Get the player displaying.
  • Camera finished for now.
  • Started on the in game map editor
  • Input Manager

That's me for the night. Tomorrow I'll work on getting some basic player movement, health and work more on the in-game editor. Maybe add a map saving feature.

Update 3:

2 Days into development. I didn't get as much as I'd hoped done today, But I've:
  • Basic but buggy player movement and collision.
  • Game state system.
  • Placeholder main menu.
  • loading/Saving maps made from the in-game editor.

Tomorrow I plan on working on some graphics and get gameplay started.

Update 4:

3 Days into development and it's coming along pretty well.  Well, hello there!
Today I:
  • Did some graphics
  • Made an external tile selector(So the game screen wasn't as clogged up).
  • Worked more on the in-game editor.

I'm happy with the form of the graphics but I'm still fiddling around with the palette e.g I don't like the contrast of the background tiles. any suggestions/feedback are welcome.

Next up is to get some gameplay in things such as collecting ore, and a mining camp where you can upgrade various things and sell you're ores and keep track of what level you're up to.
