Smoothly interpolating between a cute little cheerful guy and a hideous roaring fiend, I love it.

Nice.. the growing sound & changing creatures both have great potential to be creepy.

Wonderful idea, wonderful sprites. G'luck!
But for comedy's sake:
Waddle Dee? Waddle Doo? 'zatchoo?

Wow, that's a really good concept! Nice job with the progressive change of the sprites.

I love the idea of a seemingly innocent and overly-casual-looking game morph into something horrifying.

it does have a Rowlands-bros (Creatures I & II, Mayhem in Monsterland) feel to it, which, in addition to the core idea, is beyond awesome. me wants.

First level done. Problem: I don't actually have music for the game and am using some placeholder stuff from Cocoron. If anyone could tell me where to get some usable music, I'd be thankful.

Two-level demo. Z jumps, X everses, Alt-X quits. I might actually have enough time to finish this, with the massive deadline extension (seriously, it's larger than the duration of the competition to start with). I'm hoping this demo gathers attention of some musician person.

Hey, this is looking really great. (the blood effect is huge!) I couldn't figure out where to press X though, so you might want to say that keys 1 and 2 switch between worlds, keys 3 and 4 change levels

Pressing X works when you're between 2 flowers.
