YoYo Games have just announced their biggest competition to date, with cash prizes valued at $35,000, and additional software prizes worth up to $85,000.

yeah I was thinking of entering, but I'm in the same boat with windows 8. What's everyone's opinion on it anyways as far as game development goes? I haven't read anything about it, all I know is it looks like a pinterest board now for some reason, and emphasizes touchscreen. Wouldn't it be just like developing with other similar devices?
