It would be REALLY cool if you could add some kind of layer that won't affect the fractal magic. I found myself fighting to find a way to impose a bit of drawing on top of the repetition (see pic 2 of my other post).

An earlier version actually had a layer like that - I think it had a background, unaffected by the fractal stuff, two normal layers, and maybe a foreground layer too. But in the end I made the decision to take all of that out, as it was making the interface too complicated. It would belong in a fully-featured drawing tool, but I decided I should focus on what was important for the fractal stuff.

@Labbed - I hadn't thought about that. It would be cool to code it all into the image file, like in spore.
