Thanks for the kind words. Impmaster@ It's the equivalent of double-jumping but locks you mid-air instead. S'gonna be important for taking out enemies at different heights and platforms. Here's a mockup of the forest stage:  |

Man, this looks SO good. A game about hating the world is my kinda game :D
'Couple of things.. although I'm freaking loving the gradually changing portrait it seems really out of place up there in that corner. Dunno if it's the HUD placement or that it simply doesn't fit though.
Also the physics seem a little wonky in those gifs, but I guess the engine is still a work in progress.
