Nice base engine. I'm looking forward to seeing the game when it's fleshed out.

Honestly, I couldn't get past the first screen. Nothing seemed to respond to my inputs. I'll try again later.

I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around this one... It was kinda jarring when the art disappeared, but I think it may be easier to navigate without it.
...But I'm at a loss on how to get anywhere. I found two levers so far (one in the library, one in the master bedroom), and have initiated the sound of gears moving from the forest... But I can't tell what, if anything any of those did, or if I'm supposed to find seven such occurrences before anything will happen? My inventory is also full of many random objects, so it's getting rather confusing.

Yeah, as you can see from examining a book in the library, you need to find seven of those

Okay, so I found the remaining gentlemen, and the temple, and SPOILER. Is that the end? Or did I do something wrong?

I would like to play this game more, since I love the art and am intrigued by the atmostphere, but I just can't make it past the interface. It takes about a second to process each click, and with the art style I'm never sure what I'm looking at anyway. So it seems to me that to play the game I have to work out what's clickable with trial and error, and then start trying to examine things which takes even more clicks, and soon I can't handle it.

I may implement some usability enhancements, but both me and the artist have lost interest in the project. May be it was just a failure experiment.
