Wishing Star is about granting wishes that have been abandoned and forgotten.
All wishes, when they’re first made, rise up into space and begin to follow the glow of Galaxy Beacons. The beacons illuminate the Wisher’s Road, a path that guides these wishes on their journey. The wishes eventually find their way to Star’s End, a planet where they rest. Here, they grow and mature until they are ready to be granted. At this point they are fetched by a Wishing Star to be taken back to the planet they originated from as a shooting star, and so granting the wish to the wish maker.
However, not many people believe in this sort of thing anymore, and don’t make as many wishes as they used to. As a result, the once well-lit path of the Wisher’s Road is starting to fade, and some wishes have been lost along the way. Without the Galaxy Beacons’ light to guide them, they’ll be long forgotten -- lost -- in cold, black space.
But one little Wishing Star still believes those wishes are out there, and desperately need to be returned to their makers. Will you, the Wishing Star, find those wishes, and bring them home to be granted?* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
