The camera movement jerky? Undecided you mean the framerate too or just the camera?
When I turn left or right, the camera jerks

Yeah unfortunately we didn't have time to do another pass over the camera system, we'll be continuing it after though, so will be tweaking the camera and such. Isn't a lot of time in a month. Sad

This is quite true!

(also: voiceovers and intro animations were especially spiffy)

Obviously my opinion doesn't really count, because my grubby fingers are all over this project. But I just want it known that what L&B have pulled off here is astounding - doubly so since it was done in a month.

Carrion's such a joy to play. Hilarious and tragic and tense and exciting. Well worth half an hour's fiddling to get XNA running properly. Wink

#Error: System.Reflection.TargetInvocationException
Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation
etc.

Can't seem to get it to work, is there something I'm missing?

What GFX card do you have?

Also when did you DL the file?

Thanks!

The floors are all invisible in my game.
Also, I couldn't submit my high score of 22,000 because my internet conveniently went down while playing  Huh?

Everything worked great for me. The production values in this are awesome. I'll have to play more later and try to get a less embarrassing score to submit to the leaderboards.

I'd love to see an 8-bit demake of this game; it's got such a Mappy-ish thing going on.

I'm guessing I need XNA something or other to play this?  I get an error message on launch.

Yeah, are you unable to play XNA games? Undecided if you are then the installer should have installed everything you need. Could you paste in the error message? (Or did you download this before today? In which case there were some (more) issues with that one.

Thanks Smiley

Yeah, I downloaded the latest one you posted.  I haven't ever had very good luck running XNA games.  It's really hit or miss.

Code:
The application failed to initialize properly (0x0000135). Click on OK to terminate the application.

I don't get anything in the event viewer.

Nope.  GeForce 6200 256MB AGP.

And before you ask:

XP SP2
P4 1.3GHz
640MB RAM

And I made sure my speakers were set to "stereo."

Hm the only other thing I can think of is your .net 2.0 is a bit borked, a corrupt DLL or something? That's a .net error, which is often caused by incompatible ATI drivers, but otherwise all I can recommend is trying to install/reinstall this:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=79bc3b77-e02c-4ad3-aacf-a7633f706ba5&displaylang=en

our installer attempts to install all the XNA prereqs, including that, but sometimes due to firewalls/routers or other reasons it fails to.

Hope this helps (for this game an all XNA games :D)

Sorry about this, I know how it feels when someone can't play your game.  I've had a bunch of trouble with mine, so, yeah.
