Yeah unfortunately we didn't have time to do another pass over the camera system, we'll be continuing it after though, so will be tweaking the camera and such. Isn't a lot of time in a month.

Isn't a lot of time in a month. This is quite true! (also: voiceovers and intro animations were especially spiffy)

Obviously my opinion doesn't really count, because my grubby fingers are all over this project. But I just want it known that what L&B have pulled off here is astounding - doubly so since it was done in a month. Carrion's such a joy to play. Hilarious and tragic and tense and exciting. Well worth half an hour's fiddling to get XNA running properly. :D

#Error: System.Reflection.TargetInvocationException Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation etc.
Can't seem to get it to work, is there something I'm missing?

depends, the useful part of the error message is down below on that somewhere. bit awkward I know, gonna get better error reporting in later (or hopefully avoid any errors ) What GFX card do you have? Also when did you DL the file? Thanks! lemmy

The floors are all invisible in my game. Also, I couldn't submit my high score of 22,000 because my internet conveniently went down while playing

Everything worked great for me. The production values in this are awesome. I'll have to play more later and try to get a less embarrassing score to submit to the leaderboards.
I'd love to see an 8-bit demake of this game; it's got such a Mappy-ish thing going on.

I'm guessing I need XNA something or other to play this? I get an error message on launch.

Yeah, are you unable to play XNA games? if you are then the installer should have installed everything you need. Could you paste in the error message? (Or did you download this before today? In which case there were some (more) issues with that one. Thanks lemmy

The application failed to initialize properly (0x0000135). Click on OK to terminate the application. I don't get anything in the event viewer.

Nope. GeForce 6200 256MB AGP.
And before you ask:
XP SP2 P4 1.3GHz 640MB RAM
And I made sure my speakers were set to "stereo."

Hm the only other thing I can think of is your .net 2.0 is a bit borked, a corrupt DLL or something? That's a .net error, which is often caused by incompatible ATI drivers, but otherwise all I can recommend is trying to install/reinstall this: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=79bc3b77-e02c-4ad3-aacf-a7633f706ba5&displaylang=enour installer attempts to install all the XNA prereqs, including that, but sometimes due to firewalls/routers or other reasons it fails to. Hope this helps (for this game an all XNA games :D)

Well, now I get something different... We're sorry. Something went wrong. Press Ctrl-C to copy error report and post on Zombie-Cow forums and we'll try and get it working for you: Unverifiable code failed policy check. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131402) at System.Reflection.Assembly.nLoadImage(Byte[] rawAssembly, Byte[] rawSymbolStore, Evidence evidence, StackCrawlMark& stackMark, Boolean fIntrospection) at System.Reflection.Assembly.Load(Byte[] rawAssembly) at netz.NetzStarter.GetAssembly(Byte[] data) at netz.NetzStarter.GetAssemblyByName(String name) at netz.NetzStarter.NetzResolveEventHandler(Object sender, ResolveEventArgs args) at System.AppDomain.OnAssemblyResolveEvent(String assemblyFullName) at Carrion.Game1..ctor() at Carrion.Program.Main(String[] args Wheee Sorry about this, I know how it feels when someone can't play your game. I've had a bunch of trouble with mine, so, yeah.
