Really like the look of everything you've posted here.

It might be good to move the character back in the screen, and have the camera center on an area in front of him.

This is a scene from the Dinosword trailer that is almost finished. Tired

P.S. Can you find the hidden Tigsource game character?

He watches, silently, smilingly.

Thanks for the input, cactus!
Truth be told, that .gif is from a much earlier version of the game before we had our final touches added.
We should probably add in a newer version of that... Thank you for your feedback.

I love the fact that his teeth remain visible along with the eyes when the area gets dark.

I really like the style of your game and you seem to make it for quite small resolutions. Did you think about releasing it for some open handhelds like the GCW Zero, Open Pandora or Caanoo? Imho that would be exactly the audience your want to get.  Smiley

And: Dinosaurs ftw!

Ziz: You know, I actually had thought about that initially, when I was chuggin' away on the code myself. Sam and I haven't really discussed doing anything other than a PC release at this point. I am patiently awaiting the Linux exporter for GM to be compatable with Raspberry Pi, because I'm making a arcade cabinet for this game.

I found an advertising firm from 1994 to make a print ad for Dinosword. The time machine was pretty expensive, but the results were worth it.

My day job is working as a crate builder for an art handling company, so there is often tons of waste wood lying around. I built the bad Larry in the lower left hand corner.

Cactus: I love your work! Thanks!  Beer!

Ah, sorry, I didn't see, that you wrote, that you make the game with Game Maker Studio.
So, at least Linux distribution should be possible.
The Pandora and Caanoo aren't so different from the Raspberry Pi, however that would probably still need changes on the engine side. A shame, but I am still looking forward to play your game on a PC. Smiley

Greetings,
Ziz

Moonman's face is right on the sweet spot between cheerful and sinister. It's like one of those optical illusions where you brain can't decide which it is supposed to be, and keeps switching rapidly.

Working on this game has been a blast so far. I hope you all enjoy this project as much as I enjoy making it. If anyone has any questions about anything at all, hit me up!

Good luck dinoguy!

edit: Backed! I would've liked to see a lot more gameplay in the video, because I know you guys have worked hard on the game, but as the video stands it looks like you've spent more time on the cutscenes. Not sure if you can re-cut it to have longer gameplay sequences in but I certainly would. Good luck either way, and I laughed at the Moonman cameo! [:D]
