Quite interesting. However, this paragraph from the
Terms and conditions should also be noted:
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY:
Each Entrant, by participating in the Contest, irrevocably consents and agrees that all software, source code, designs, drawings and any other content or information (collectively and severally called “Materials”) that Entrant submits to the Sponsor shall be SUBJECT TO A ROYALTY-FREE, WORLD-WIDE, PERPETUAL, NON-EXCLUSIVE LICENSE (“License”) for the Sponsor to use, reproduce, edit, display, transmit, prepare derivative works of, modify, publish, and otherwise make use of Materials in any and all media, whether now known or hereinafter created, throughout the world and for any purpose, without additional compensation to Entrant of any kind.
I'm confused about this one:
Entrant consents and agrees to waive, and hereby waives, any and all moral rights in the Materials.
Would this be considered only for contest winners?
