Yeah I agree! No I didn't make it, it was a custom creation of Joseph Reid: https://twitter.com/Funkofan12

This looks really good! Loved the art style! By the way, what programming language / framework / tool are you using?

Using Multimedia Fusion 2 Dev. Right now I'm currently working out some issues with loot objects and setting up actions zones for them... Since some loot might be placed on tables and other stuff, I need special custom zones to detect where the player can pick them up from... For example, typically a loot item might be 32x32 pixels so the action zone would be the same... but if the 32x32 pixel item is on a table and happens to be "inside" the table by 8 pixels all around, then the player wouldn't typically be able to grab the loot, as the table is in the way. Creating custom action zones will circumvent this problem since I could just specify a particular piece of loot to have a larger action zone so that you could grab the loot from the edge of the table without the loot having to actually physically be right at the edge. This is one of the last big steps I need to finish before moving on to level creation... which means a lot more screenshots and info will be flooding into this devlog shortly after! Also can't wait to show you guys the new lockpicking minigame interface!

Saw your post in the Burglar devlog. This is looking good too! Love the pixel style.
So about hiding, maybe instead of shadows, your guy could hide under tables, in closets, behind shower and window curtains, stuff like that

For hiding in plain sight I actually plan to have the character wearing some various disguises/costumes... such as looking like a common household vase or a bush. I think the logistics for getting him to be able to hide under tables and stuff would be a nightmare to program though it would definitely be awesome. Anyway, progress is being made! I'm nearly finished with this stubborn action zone stuff so once that's done, I can finish adding in all the interior loot and actually complete an entire level to play! Michael has been busy working on tons of graphics for the game... and I am really excited to be showing some of that stuff soon... including the exterior tileset and the new lockpicking interface among other things! Screenshots coming soon!

It's looking absolutley stunning! Looking forward to it.
As for hiding under tables and stuff, I think that wouldn't be too hard to program in MMF2. If most hideable objects having the same "border" where the player is visible, I think you could do it pretty easily!
