Wow, what are you going to program this in? How big is your team? It looks ambitious, and gorgeous... As I´m developing a 3D action roguelike myself, I'm jealous of how beautiful it looks...

Love the art you have so far. Also reminds me of the Redwall series, you ever read those as a kid? Following.

Prototype work has started and new people have joined the team. More info about this soon. New artwork: A shield, made from an old watch, can also be used to light your path.

Guys, I need some advice: Where should I look for 3D animators? The watch shield modeled:

beautiful I love love low poly stuff that's done well, and the watch is just a really nice touch. not sure if intentional, but the white on his eyebrows and mouth make him look like an old guy.

It looks like he doesn't pick his foot up until it's halfway to the front again, which makes it look odd. Also, I don't think most things move/tilt their head side to side so much. It makes him look a bit dozy. Is the right arm more active than the left? Ear, too?
But other than that, I love it!

I can't complain. The walk animation looks fine by me in this context. He moves really smoothly, and I like that every part of him shifts just a little to make him seem alive.

I agree on the foot thing, a little more bend in the knee would help that. The ears... they bounce, but they feel kind of like rubbery attachments, rather than part of his head. Doesn't feel like they're under control.

I'll add to that comment about the foot thing; though I didn't notice until it was pointed out.
Also; I clicked this topic because I was like, "Is this game about eagles, or hamsters?!". I was happy with what I say. Great job with everything so far!

I posted our concept art to /r/gaming and it reached the front page of reddit. Peaking at 3300 up. Incredible confidence boost!
