These coin shields are adorable, and show that you're thinking about how mice would operate in a world that's built larger than they are.  On a side topic, this was what I always disliked about Mouse Guard.  It was essentially a low fantasy that replaced humans with mice.  Brian Jacques' world was much more imaginative, and yours seems to be too.  Good luck with this.

Whats the movement like?

Small creatures can generally move faster, jump higher and fall further(safely) relative to their size than people, so that could make for some interesting gameplay.
