I prefer B. The other two looks too bland for me, at least for a game of being an artist (for generic rpg, such maps would be acceptable though).

Somewhere between A and C. Essentially lose the front wall, but keep the tops of all the walls. Look to Chrono Trigger for what I mean.

Indicators for where he will land and grid snapping. Collision with other objects/artists should be next.  Also mountains!

Mockup: nude model for life drawing. A corpse for anatomy study should be included later as well.  I should make the canvases draggable next.
