I've always found Mr. Heli really charming:

Portal: I just got it to today, and I just beat it:

That's way too late time to get it! :D
There is a 'late' but there's never a 'too late' for games (:
I'm only slightly ahead of that.

Now you need to get Portal TFV Map Pack and play it since it will (more or less) be the map pack released for the 360 for Christmas, and for good reason.

That's awesome!  Grin  Where did they get the models and color template to do mod the game??   Undecided

Anyways, I have The Orange Box for PS3, so I don't know if I can download.  Lips Sealed
What? You mean the models that came with the game?

I'm not sure if you can mod it on a PS3, but you definitely do not need to redownload all of the models and "color templates" to mod Portal on the PC. Steam comes with this thing called the Source SDK which allows you to use existing Source games' resources as a base for your mods, and has tools to edit models, maps, and other things and lets you edit its source code.

That is how this game was made. I suggest anyone that played Portal to check it out, it's pretty interesting. It starts off at around the difficulty level that the original Portal left off from, and only gets harder from there. I think that the fan storyline was nice, the maps were well-constructed and the announcers were a perfect contrast from GLaDOS (i.e. aggressive vs passive-aggressive, unprofessional and sexual vs. mechanic, cold and professional, etc.) while still keeping a similar fantastic dark humour.
Oh, I see.   I meant how did the people who made the mod get a hold of the models n' such.    Anyway, that prelude thing looks really cool! *Starting to regret getting it for PS3*
The opened up the directory.

See, if you have a PC, PCs let you access these things called "files" that every game is made of, even the ones on your PS3. Now I know you've probably never heard of these things called "files", being as your only access to a computer has been through a gamepad or a gui, but trust me, they're there. And all you need to do open up a little thing in Windows called "My Computer" and click on the icon labeled "Local Disk (C:)" and you will be suddenly thrown into the world of files. Personally, tho, I recommend you close the window quickly, as tho you had accidentally opened up a porn window in a public library, and return to your nice little safe world of Start buttons and Playstation menus.

I miss it too.  Sad

Should've bought a Pandora when I had the chance... It's playable on that.

Apparently, there are two more Ape Escape games on the PS2.

I love this game, but it makes me sad that my Gameboy has an unresponsive L button. Also, the designs remind me of the Warioware games- does anyone know if it's the same artist?

EDIT: The Boktai series is also quite charming.

I especially love the shuffling animation for the little blue Boks. Such personality in such tiny little sprites!

in my day, we had to write all our posts in a single thread, before walking 19 miles to school in a torrential rainstorm of lava.  and we didn't have legs.

My family had one leg, but my dad usually took it to work, because if you weren't standing up at the factory for your entire fourteen hour shift the foreman would beat you senseless with a cudgel.

I always thought this thread was about games that had an emotional impact on you?  Huh?

Anyway.
