capntastic is a mod now It is really annoying to delete mass spam manually; I tried to do so on my lunch break via my phone once and gave up after ~10 threads. "Ban this stooge and delete all their horrid posts" should be an option. |

that we're never going to get. let me tell you a secret: for the first few years of tig, mods couldn't even ban (this was before my or dragonmaw's time though). i mean it made sense to give mods very limited powers when derek and matthew were still around to run stuff, but now that we are pretty much the only people running this community it's getting a little annoying to not be able to do a lot of stuff. |

I spent a day or two coming up with a post to make but it's basically just a big old shrug.
I'll do my small part to ensure TIGS has proper lanes for good posts and fun posts and technical grit posts and hey look at my shit posts but I'm not gonna clamor for tools to armor up and fight the good fight and all that since I and everyone else does this for free in their spare time.

Uhm, I know this may not be the best thread for this, but has anyone else noticed that some of the images for buttons on here fail to load? I'm not sure if it happens for everyone, but it definitely throws an error when I investigate with F12. It says: "Failed to load resource: net::ERR_CONTENT_DECODING_FAILED" for the reply button specifically. Can someone investigate?
Edit: the remove message button seems to be affected as well.
