We've finally finished the post mortem of our little "not-really-a-game" The Graveyard. It contains a discussion of the design, finding funding and technology, a "what went right and what went wrong", interviews with the artists who contributed and an analysis of the public response to the game (with download and sales figures). Read it here.

Along the same vein, but rather "pre-natem" than "post-mortem", you may also be interested in the development journal we are keeping during the production of our first commercial game The Path, where we share the joys and miseries of independent game development.

The Graveyard was pretty interesting to try out, I remember. Very atmospheric. Beer!

I've read what's be said about the design of this game before; I might browse this to see if anything's been added when I have time.  It's a definite landmark in my psychological game-geography.
