That name isnt nearly obnoxious enough. It has to be a sentence fragment inclunding unusual punctuation. something like "But The Admins Were Absent!!!"

Oh man, I am truly, sincerely sorry about that.  But as you know, I can't do anything. The admins mostly don't care/don't have time for this forum anymore and for some reason refuse to either give mods more powers or appoint someone who does have the time. |

anyway, i can access the mod panel again now and i've deleted a lot of old hostname and IP bans. i kinda doubt that will fix it, but you could try.

I got an e-mail from someone who wasn't able to answer the question about Daisuke Amaya'a nickname. It seems a bit ridiculous and insular to require knowledge of this sort of trivia to be able to register.

Sure, but that's still ridiculous. Since it's keeping legitimate users out (or at least inconveniencing them), and can be easily looked up, it's worth asking what value it actually provides.

That's a poor way to run a board. If something critical (like, oh I don't know, the forum getting hacked) were to happen again no one would be able to reach an admin to do anything about it?
