Maybe you could make an option that set the monitor to 640*480, and place the playing field in the middle of the screen, making the rest black

That's how it works now when you set higher resolution (more than 640x480), though I doubt anyone will really need higher resolution, but since I am used to making everything highly-customizable, there you go. Smiley

And should I keep saying that update is coming along? :D Well, I thought it's going to be earlier, but didn't have time to finish everything lately. But it's going to happen soon.

And god I love 2xSaI Kiss. Why? Well, take a look...

640x480 resolution using 2xSaI:

The differences may not seem obvious on these pictures, but they are SO obvious when you run the game in fullscreen on computers with high-DPI monitors/large monitors.

Update - Compo Edition v0.7.8

Windows binary d/l:
http://users4.nofeehost.com/pqgames/adrian/uneksians_0.7.8.zip

Sadly, though, there is almost no change to level design. If I had to answer that question, I'd say that levels and puzzles are not done at its maximum. Gunners are still not present in game, although coded. Tileswitching is still not present, although coded. And so on.

Anyways, it's not annoying anymore now and might be enjoyable. Take a look at list of changes and see for yourself:

  • Save functionality
  • 640x480 resolution using 2xSaI
  • Lame main menu and intro screens
  • Tile switcher
  • Minor level-design changes
  • Minor artwork and sound design changes
  • Configuration file
  • Following issue solved
  • Pip fall-through issue solved
  • Message durations and mine bounding box adjusted
  • Alarm protection
  • And minor changes I forgot to mention here

New controls:
ALT+ENTER - Switches between windowed and fullscreen mode
F8 - Turns 2xSaI on/off (if it's running slowly on your PC try turning off 2xSaI)
