No, it's just that one arm is bent.

No, I think it does look a little stretchy.

Hmm. Didn't know about this game. Will download and play to see if there are any similarities.

Why is he slowly ducking and tilting his shotgun?

Well he's clearly breathing, but it kinda looks awkward to me, considering his legs are already bending anyway.

Front of the hat should probably be squarer.

Just sayin'

Cornered the front of the cap, also gave the legs an upward motion instead of downward to avoid the "slowly ducking" look.

That is looking really cool! Have you thought of trying just having the upper body move down a pixel? The gun tilt feels... awkward for some reason... perhaps if it was tilting back, but then it might feel more like it was shooting.

I kind of want to see an alternate idle where he slings the shotgun over his shoulder, takes the hat off and dusts it off on his knee.  Grin

I know it's kinda awkward, but just pulling the upper body down a pixel looks kinda... static. I'll make and post it, though.

I was thinking of letting one hand go to tilt the head and scratch hair.

Edit: Done

Hm... what about having the shotgun dip a frame after he goes back up, kind of a secondary action?
