Hey, everyone!

We, Happymagenta team, are really excited to share with you the new iOS game we are working on now - Joan Mad Run!

What would you do if you woke up in a jail cell? You don't know how you got here, you can't tell who you are...no memories, no stuff, no nothing. The only thing you are sure of is that you have to get out to find out the truth...even if that means destroying everything on your way. Would you have enough courage to take the challenge and find until your very last breath?

Meet Joan and see how far the desire to know the truth can lead you!

The game is still in its early stage of development and everyday we create something new to make it even more enjoyable for you.
We thought of many ways of showing Joan's current health condition and decided to use an avatar that shows how Joan feels and whether she uses some power up or ability. It also displays ammo levels and cool down times for both the primary and the secondary weapon shots.

Have a look at the animated picture below and trace Joan's condition, starting from absolutely healthy, then getting Bloodlust power up, getting damages and dying.


Prepare for seas of blood as your escape would be far from easy.

And now we hope that you will just enjoy the screenshots of some locations and of course bosses.
Here comes the first boss - Jonny Boy zombie-mummy. How do you like it?

Have a look at some power-ups, utilities and missions.

Ultra boost gives you an awesome opportunity to quickly pass through the level:



And here you can see the mission accomplished notice (you killed 10 enemies in one run)+ double kill (which gives you extra coins). You can also see the evil laser flare in action:



Some great utilities: Resurrection and Last Word. With the former you'll get a second life. And with the latter you'll turn into the death ghost and will get a great chance to fly a bit further through the level, sucking blood and souls out of everyone on your way!



This was only a small amount of what we wanted to share. New locations, new bosses, new guns and new challenge are waiting for you! So stay with us and we will surprise you.

Hey, everyone!  

We are working on weapons right now. So we'd love to share some part of what we have by now and to know your opinion!

Since every little detail is important for us, we concentrated special attention on weapon effects. At the screenshots you will see that unlike in other games of the kind, each Joan's weapon kills the enemy in a different way:

Katana. Cuts enemies into pieces.





Golden Pistol. Kills tough enemies faster thanks to more rapid fire:





Shotgun. Kills several enemies at once and explodes them at close shot.






AK-47 upgraded with grenade launch:





Laser. Cuts everything on the path of its ray:





Laser flare. Passes through all levels, slicing all your enemies:





Freezegun. Watch the enemies freeze and fall apart like glass.





Freezegun Pump. Freezes everything: enemies, traps and the whole environment:

Hey, everyone!  

Here comes a new portion of cruel Joan's weapons. Hope you'll enjoy!

Circular saw. For a simply brutal killing:





When upgraded it strikes with flying discs:



Lightning cannon. Strikes enemies with a lightning, chaining and turning them to ashes:





When upgraded creates a ball lightning:



Mono-molecular lash. Cuts enemies into dozens of small pieces:





When upgraded creates a net that makes minced meat out if your enemies:



Microwave gun. Ignites and incinerates enemies:





Plasma sword. Deflects bullets and cuts enemies into pieces. Upgrade it, throw it right into enemies, cut their flesh and watch the saber come back to you like a boomerang. Collect crystals, upgrade the saber's color and stats:









Imp Gun. Creates black holes that pull blood and soul out of your enemies, taking them straight into the blazing inferno:





Satanic. An upgraded version of Imp Gun:





Acid gun. Strikes with acid that melts enemies:





When upgraded - spawns headcrabs which spit acid all over the level:




Reducer. Makes enemies small which lets Joan step on and squeeze them:





Resizer. Inflates and explodes you enemies:
